Umar, born and raised in Alor Besar, is the youngest of three siblings and one of the brightest sparks on the Nautika team. Raised in a humble farming family, he brings both humility and heart to everything he does — along with an infectious smile that lights up the room.
Though young, Umar is mature beyond his years. He learns fast, works hard, and shows unwavering loyalty to the team. Now serving as a supervisor, he is also a trained Sherwood equipment specialist and a certified compressor operator, taking responsibility for Nautika’s gear and systems with care and precision.
Outside of Nautika, Umar runs a small bike repair shop — a reflection of his technical talent and entrepreneurial mindset. He’s also actively studying English, eager to connect with people from around the world and grow through new experiences.
Umar is now on his way to becoming a PADI Divemaster with a focus on dive equipment and maintenance — a path that perfectly fits his strengths and passion. He brings an unmatched work ethic, a calm presence, and deep respect for both people and the environment.
He believes in mutual respect, environmental care, and leading with kindness — values that are already shaping him into not just a skilled technician, but a future leader in Alor’s dive industry.
